SellerDesk

Photos or a supplier link in. A finished eBay draft out.

Start from a few photos of something you have, or a link to a product on Amazon or AliExpress. SellerDesk fills in the category, item specifics, title, description and a price, then stops so you can check it.

    Writing item specifics…

A good eBay listing takes twenty minutes of forms. Every single time.

Hunting for the category, item specifics one dropdown at a time, a title that fits 80 characters, a price you hope is right. Multiply that by every new product and listing becomes the job.

How it works

Two ways in, one review step

Whether you start from photos or a link, the draft stops for you before anything goes to eBay.

  1. 1

    Add photos, or paste links

Up to 12 photos of an item you have, with a rough title or barcode if you know it. Or up to 20 Amazon or AliExpress product links at once, with your markup (30% unless you change it).

  2. 2

    SellerDesk reads the product

Photos are resized and their location data removed. For links, the supplier’s page is read: title, features, specs, photos and price.

  3. 3

    Category and item specifics

Chosen with eBay’s own category suggestions, and filled from the values eBay allows in that category.

  4. 4

    Matched to eBay’s catalogue

A barcode match is used as found. A match by keywords only counts when the product in your photos is confirmed to be the same one.

  5. 5

    Priced from the market

From photos: the median of at least three similar Buy It Now listings for sale now, ending in .99, with the range shown. From links: the supplier’s cost plus your markup, never below cost.

  6. 6

Written, checked, and stopped for you

A title and description are written, takedown risks are checked, and the draft waits as “Ready for review”. Nothing is published until you say so.

When something’s missing, the draft still gets made

Each gap becomes a note on the draft, so you know exactly what to check.

  • 01

    Writing help unavailable

The supplier’s own text is used, with a note to rewrite it before you publish.

  • 02

    eBay can’t be reached

The draft is saved without a category, and you’re asked to pick one before publishing.

  • 03

    Different currency

If the supplier prices in another currency, no price is set and you’re told why.

  • 04

    Too few comparable listings

With fewer than three, no price is suggested rather than a guess.

What you get

  • Listing studio

A rich-text description editor, up to 24 photos, item specifics from eBay’s category data, a setup checklist and a desktop and mobile preview.

  • Checks before publish

Title length, category, required specifics, allowed values, price, photos and business policies are checked before eBay sees the listing.

  • Bulk jobs

Edit, rewrite, publish, relist, end or archive up to 5,000 products in one job, with a review step before anything runs.

  • Supplier watch

Imported products are checked every 6 hours for price changes of 3% or more, sell-outs and products that disappear, each with a one-click answer.

  • No accidental duplicates

Paste a product you’ve already imported and you’re told, instead of getting a second draft.

  • Revisions kept in budget

Edits to live listings go to eBay within 200 revisions a day per listing, with a warning at 80%.

Built-in limits

SellerDesk suggests. You decide.

  • Every draft stops at review. Nothing is published by an import.
  • Imported prices never go below the supplier’s cost.
  • Photo metadata, including location, is removed before upload.

Good to know

  • Variation listings and description templates aren’t in the studio yet.
  • Bulk publishing sends listings one at a time, so large batches take a little while.

Frequently asked questions

Will an import copy the supplier’s listing?

No. The title and description are rewritten, and the takedown check flags the supplier’s wording and supplier-only photos before you publish.

Can I dropship from Amazon?

eBay’s rules don’t allow buying from another retailer to ship straight to your buyer. Listings imported from Amazon are held back until you confirm you hold the stock or buy it wholesale, and that confirmation is recorded.

Which supplier links work?

Product links from Amazon’s storefronts (23 of them), Amazon short links, and AliExpress product links.

How many photos can a listing have?

Up to 24, each up to 5 MB. They’re resized to 1600 pixels on the longest edge, which is what eBay shows.

Turn your next ten products into drafts.

Connect your eBay store, paste a few supplier links or add some photos, and review the drafts.
